It took place this Saturday (26), the 8th edition of the Nautical Rally of Bahia. The nautical party comes right before summer in Bahia, but the blue sky and clear water atmosphere in BaÍa de Todos os Santos was like an omen of the hottest season of the year and that was how it followed, a special moment for all 30 teams that ran for the categories:General, Bahia and Adventure.
The Nautucal Rally of Bahia is performed by Bahia Marina and Yacht Club of Bahia, sponsored by Air Europa, Nautica Magazine, Azimut, Real Boat and Saltur (Municipal Turism Government Company), that were part of the event in the Nautical Festival of Salvador Municipal Government.
According to the technical coordenator of the Rally, Glênio Cogo, the event got to this new edition with a higher level, even more improved. Yaws with different angles, positions, limits of tolerence and variations raised the competitors´ adrenaline. All of that, allied to the cenario of the most beautiful bay in Brazil, turned this competition in the biggest nautical meeting in the country.

One hour and a half after the start, the teams had an obligatory stop at the neutral point, in Bahia Marina. Along this break, the runners left the atmosphere of competition so they could relax to the sound of DJ Barbie and took the chance to recalculate the route to the end of the race.
