Casas Conceito, the first event in the segment of architecture and design genuinely from Bahia, has now a new address. The Bahia Marina was the place chosen by the entrepreneur Andrea Velame for the new season of the project, with a masterplan by architect Adriano Mascarenhas. For this year’s issue, the theme will be the ocean. “We want to unite the beauties of the Baia de Todos os Santos with references from the world’s greatest beaches”, emphasizes the idealizer of the exhibition Casas Conceito, Andrea Velame.
With an audience of 10,000 people, the first edition of the show took place in the Horto Florestal neighborhood, in a 12,000-m² green area reserve. “After holding an event with so much natural appeal, I had a challenge for the second edition. And the only thing that can compete with the green is the sea. For this reason, Bahia Marina was the place chosen to host the next edition “.
For the director of Bahia Marina, Leilane Loureiro, to receive such an important show in the year the Marina celebrates its 20th anniversary is to put the project onto a new and promising route of architecture, design and landscaping.
