With an after-beach style with light meals, açaí bowls, fresh juices and hamburgers, the Balada Mix opened this January its Bahia Marina unit, bringing in their innovative menu the special qualities of the franchise. In addition to healthy food options, it also features the bar concept for happy-hour drinks, selected draft beers, snacks and brunch on the weekends to cater for all tastes.
According to one of the partners of the brand, Guto Baiardi, Bahia Marina is one of the best spots in Salvador and taking advantage of this space was what they needed to be able to offer a wider service. “We are located by the sea, with a privileged view to the Baia de Todos os Santos, besides having available parking and security 24/7,” he points out.
The design was signed by Adriano Mascarenhas, from Sotero Arquitetos. For interior design, the plan was to use rustic furniture that interacts with the natural setting and with the characteristics of the Balada Mix franchise of healthy food and exposed fruit.
Balada Mix was founded 14 years ago in Rio de Janeiro and has a chain of 28 restaurants. In 2008 it began franchising with expansion to several Brazilian states.
At Bahia Marina, the opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 4pm to midnight, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to midnight.
